INVISALIGN
Invisalign Treatment is the process of wearing a series of clear, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth. No brackets and wires, and none of the restrictions that come with metal braces.

Initial Consult
At your first appointment at our office, we start with taking a digital scan of your teeth, followed by photos, and updating radiographs. Our doctor then creates a unique, digital treatment plan that map out the exact movement of your teeth. Your Invisalign clear aligners are then designed to apply the right amount of force to the right place at the right time based on your plan. Your Invisalign Doctor will be with you every step of the way to monitor your progress and ensure your aligners fit correctly.
Starting Treatment
Once you approve of your treatment and decide to start, the journey of changing your smile begins. At the initial appointment, you receive your Invisalign trays. You will wear each set of aligners for 20 to 22 hours a day, changing to a new set of aligners every 1 to 2 weeks, as directed by your doctor. At this appointment, your doctor will place tooth colored attachments on your teeth on specific spots basced on your plan. This is an easy and painless procedure.
Finishing treatment
Once Invisalign treatment is completed, we remove the tooth colored attachments from your teeth in an easy and painless procedure. We then digitally scan your teeth for a set of night time retainers. We recommend changing out your retainers to a new set once a year as they may break, discolor, or warp after a year and may no longer be effective in keeping your teeth from moving.
Benefits
Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible — people may not even notice you’re wearing them . You can remove them to eat and drink, to brush and floss, or for special occasions. There are no metal brackets or wires that could irritate your mouth or break.
Invisalign Vs At-Home OTC aligners
We understand that Invisalign can seem like a financial burden, however, we participate with great third party financing for flexible payment plans to ease the costs. Although at-home clear aligner companies seem alluring with low costs, they have a lot of negative attributes. With these companies, there is very little oversight with your treatment. They don’t require dental radiographs to evaluate your teeth for cavities and infections. They also don’t evaluate the bone around your teeth to make sure your treatment is safe and effective. For these reasons, we highly encourage our patients to only undergo orthodontic treatment with a reputable dentist or orthodontist.
