composite fillings
The concept of a “filling” is replacing and restoring your tooth structure that is damaged due to decay or fracture with a material. When a cavity is at a small or medium size, a composite filling is a wonderful option to restore your tooth to its healthy state. Composites are tooth colored and esthetic, so your filling can be our little secret.
Root canals
It started out as a small decay in the superficial layer of the tooth, but left untreated, the cavity grew into the deeper reaches of the tooth. This resulted in extensive damage to the tooth structure, reaching the nerve of the tooth and causing pain and discomfort. When the damage goes beyond repair by a filling, a root canal needs to be performed. This process involves removing damaged nerve tissue, and replacing it with biocompatible filling material, and relieving you of pain and infection. We provide root canal procedures in our office to relieve you of your pain, and restore your healthy mouth.
porcelain crowns
We just finished your root canal, what's next? Well, when a tooth receives root canal therapy, it weakens the tooth with the potential to fracture. A crown is a permanent covering that fits over an original tooth that is either decayed, damaged or cracked. In certain cases, if you have a large restoration in your tooth causing fracture lines, or a big part of your tooth breaks, a crown is necessary to protect your tooth from further damage or tooth loss. Crowns are made of a variety of different materials such as porcelain, gold, acrylic resin or a mix of these materials. Porcelain crowns are a great esthetic alternative to your natural teeth.
